There are over three billion people worldwide that go without food, clean water, shelter, healthcare and education. This is the equivalent of the half the world's population struggling to survive. Christian Aid challenges these issues and wants to see an end to people in living poverty. We do this by campaigning. Whether it is one voice or a thousand, campaigning makes a real difference!
Christian Aid has campaigned on many issues including debt, landmines and child labour all over the world. They played a massive role in the Make Poverty History campaign raising public awareness and millions of pounds of debt relief for poor countries. Every action we take, however small, can help make a difference. Even small actions, like signing a petition, can have a huge impact on the lives of the world’s poorest people.
You can give to Christian aid starting today in whatever way you want. Maybe organise a fun run or a bike ride, getting active is a great way to raise money and awareness towards a charity. Christian Aid helps thousands and thousands of people around the world who live in poverty and struggle to survive on a daily basis. It is important to support these charities so they can continue to provide care and support to people who really need it.
